Nak cakap bodoh, tapi dia profesor UKM

Kelantan????

Agatha Masri Agus, Agus. It is my view that you are not qualified to comment on this issue because you can't even differentiate the difference between the position of Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak. Of course Kelantan cannot opt for secession because it is one of the states of Tanah Melayu whereas Sabah and Sarawak are two separate entity for the formation of Malaysia.

S.s. Anand Prof, please go back to school. In the 1st place Sabah & Sarawak are not states of Malaysia. Malaysia would NEVER exist without Sabah & Sarawak.

Melton Martin Kelantan tak sama dengan Sabah dan Sarawak. Bodohlah Professor ni.

Boniface Seman Kelantan is a part of Tanah Melayu, but not Sabah and Sarawak.

Professor, you do not understand how it feel to be colonized, deprived, robed, cheated and bullied, even to point that the right of the people to practice their beliefs is being infringed. As a academician you may not see the reality (real truth) that the people of the two Eastern States have succumbed to. From the beginning and until now, everything was and has gone wrong: the formation of Malaysia, NEP priorities, oil and gas resources, religious right of the non muslim, legibility to enter higher learning institutions, recruitment, promotion and selection of employment in public sectors and many more.

Unfortunately, racism and religious extremism have added more fire to catalyst to the happening.

Sarawak and Sabah have the right speak out its grievance.

Azrin Awang Ali what about our country that have been downgraded to states, our integrity, who would safeguard it? we are not happy not because some idiot politicians who think they own this land ravaging its wealth or incompetency of government tackling local issue, we are not happy because in the Malaysia Agreement 1963, Federal Government of Malaya have promised to us to guide us into autonomy transition, safeguarding our rights and order. Yet, after nearly half century, what happen? we were supposed to be a Federation of Malaysia, formation of independent countries that should be an equal partner not another colony. We had enough being other people's colony during the british time. All we want is please respect and restore the promise that have been made in malaysia agreement. Thats all!

Abraham Moses I remembered My father told me about how strong Sarawak was as an independent country before joining the Federation of Malaysia.... We were once rich with many resources and our economy was strong.... Our education policies were Cambridge benchmark levels, our currencies were almost on par as the United States, our economy and the population prospered due to our strategic location. But look at what happened to us Sarawakians after 50 years with Malaysia, our resources(rainforest and oil) being robbed and channeled back to the federal government, our rivers being robbed by turning them into dams, our economies being forced to adhere to stupid policies like "All imports should go to Port Klang first before reaching Sarawak", our education standard had fallen to its lowest levels and even our religion is being discriminated and humiliated by the pro- government NGOs and greedy politicians. Are we Sarawakians going to continue to suffer like this for another 50 years...? Enough is Enough ~ Negotiations between Sarawak and Putrajaya is no longer necessary because SARAWAK is for SARAWAKIANS only ~

Kam Teow Eng Frankly, there are many states that would want to secede from Malaysia if it could, but Sabah and Sarawak have more reasons to do so as there are more wide spread discontentment. One way or the other, Singapore left the Federation of Malaysia, what is so difficult of these two East Malaysian States?

Gary Tay Sabah and Sarawak are probing up the BN government as without their support, Najib and Co. would fall. Prior to 2008, Sabah and Sarawak were ignored by the Federal Government as the leaders of Sabah and Sarawak were too weak to fight for the rights of the people in S and S. Now that the political landscape has changed, it is time that S and S fought for what are rightly theirs. We are following the example of the founding fathers of the United States of America who declared " ... that whenever any form of government becomes destructive, .... it is the right of the people (of Sabah and Sarawak) to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government." Would the people of Sabah and Sarawak make demands if they were treated as equal partners in the federation, as was originally agreed upon ? Look at the development in Sabah and Sarawak, and compare the condition with that of Malaya. I always use the North-South Highway in Malaya as a yardstick. Should not Sabah and Sarawak enjoy what Malaya is enjoying now ? We do not even have a proper highway and what we have is not even comparable with the kampung roads you have in the many kampungs in Malaya. After all, where do the bulk of the money to build the N/S Highway, Petronas Twin Towers, etc. come from if not from the oil and gas found off the shores of Sabah and Sarawak. What do we get in return ? Crumbs thrown to us while Malaya are feasting on the main table !

Daniel Liew Restore Sabah and Sarawak 18/20 point agreement first including returning all the wealth and natural resources (eg.: petroleum, timber/rainforest, agriculture, etc) stolen from them for the past 51 years (since the Federation of Malaysia was formed back in 1963), then only talk about stopping the 'Quit Malaysia' talk.
