Sabahans and Sarawakians must switch from BM to English

If BM is so crucial, then why did all the corrupt rich BN elite send their children to oversea where the medium of instruction is in English? And why the word ALLAH and Bible (BM version) cannot be used by the Christians?

I have been asked numerous times "Why do you strongly suggest that Sabahans and Sarawakians must switch from Bahasa Malay(BM) to English? We were all educated in BM and it is so difficult to change."

Well these are my rationales:

1) English is a far more superior & complete language than BM which is used in less than 4 countries in this world while English is the universal language used by over 150 countries. It is the LINGUA FRANCA of the world.

2) PUTRAJAYA does not want us to keep apace with the world in terms of technology and Science. If you go into the internet and check for information, you will agree with me. In other words, BN restricts us from prospering or expanding our knowledge. Najib and his henchmen are scared that we will learn and understand more about true democracy as practiced in other countries in the West and will eventually question all the transgressions going on here from CORRUPTION, racism, violation of human rights, police brutality, religious bigotry to practice of cronyism.

3) Despite 55 years of BN rule, today the language taught in the local universities such as law and medicines, is still in English.

4) BN has made it clear that the word ALLAH cannot be used by the Christians and the Bible books in local churches are mostly in BM. Why do we have to succumb to their demands? Why do something when you are not welcomed?

5) If BM is so crucial, then why did all the corrupt rich BN elite send their children to oversea where the medium of instruction is in English? These politicians are not only crooks, they are typical hypocrites too.

6) BM stole umpteen words from English making the local language sounds so ARTIFICIAL!!!

Hope the above will apeace my critics.

p.s. A good comment of the day posted by a discerning person, Mr Toong Chang Hell.

Toong Chang Hell to Malayan language! Malayan language has not only reduced our competitiveness in the region and the world but impeded the intellectual development of Sabah and Sarawak people, particularly our children. Sabah and Sarawak schools and government departments should have continued using English language from the day Sabah and Sarawak form Malaysia Federation more than 50 years ago.
